KRISTAL-IRMS is an information retrieval management system that supports fast retrieval of documents which satisfy user query and management of document insertion/update/deletion at the same time. KRISTAL has been developed as an information management system by tightly coupling a part of DB management functions and full IR (Information Retrieval) functions.
